Haighted.

The street art in the Lower Haight is unique even when compared to the surrounding neighborhoods of San Francisco. There is a refined folk sensibility about the pieces that keep the aesthetic in that sweet spot between graffiti and gallery. Here are some examples found on Monday afternoon that I thought I would share.
No Lower Haighters were harmed in the making of this post, but some hippies from the upper haight were. More pics after the jump. Enjoy.
