Two great DJs, incredible legs, catchy song. Ok, the song is crap but its cool to see two hip-hop DJs get some shine outside of a flip cam vids and hip-hop videos. I am fan of Su-Yoon shoes now and have no idea of what they are. Thanks to TSS for the heads-up. Now, I am gonna replay this on mute.

So, I got caught up in the hype and watched the LOST Final Season premiere. The little recap before the show was helpful but I can imagine true LOST fans hating on the abridged version of the series. I would be if I had been watching the show for 5 years to see it summed up in 45 minutes. LOST, along with 24, is one of those TV series I am waiting to end so I can netflix the whole series and see it as a whole story. Gotta admit though, the premiere had me making the same “huh?” face I had for 5 hours when I watched Season 1 on a flight to New York. Now for the picture, Nike endorses LOST by making a Dharma Initiative shoe. Check out the other pics at Hypebeast. I thought it was pretty clever.

Nike’s designer geniuses, Tinker Hatfield and Mark Smith, explain the design, concepts. and fits of the new Jordan 2010. Although, I can appreciate the level of thoguht and workmanship of the shoe, the 2010 just reminds of some Payless-type show (XJ-900, anybody?). Great vid and promotion but not feeling this shoe this time around.

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, prettty good. (c) Larry David. This shoe looks dope. Air Trainer 1, Raiders colors, Bo Jackson insole. Can’t hate on this. Heard these will be avail at FootLocker this week but if someone can confirm this, please do! Shout to IS and SF for the pics. More images after the jump.
For many of you, this documentary is not new, but for those of you who are like me and never heard of it, please read on so you can avoid making the same mistake I did.
This is the worse documentary I have every seen. Apparently Helen Keller is alive and is making movies about sneakers.
After the DVD arrived, I immediately shed the disc of its red envelope, thinking I was going to watch, learn and celebrate apart of our culture that we love so much. However after 30min into it, I realized I had been duped.
The film has no direction and no display of basic editing skills. For example, the film crew travels all the way to Paris to interview Mathieu Kassovitz, who durning the tapping, only spoke French. This would not be a problem accept that there where no subtitles translating what Mathieu was saying. Unless you speak French, there are 15min that will be totally lost on you.
The only thing that this film is successful at is taking the rich and interesting phenomenon know as the sneaker revolution, and all the vibrant personalities that come along with it, and make it all so completely boring. Just for Kicks is premature film that lacks vision and restraint. There, I said it.
JUST FOR KICKS

I don’t know who this kid is, but this video of him visiting the Nike campus in Oregon. Where he is going to be making a custom aw77 “worlds best hoodie.” The video is awesome to watch.

Nike put up a dope site that is an interactive pop-up book of all the Jordan shoes and some dope moments in the year that the shoe was released. For J0rdan heads, this is a good little trivia quiz for oneself to see how much you actually know about the man and the shoes. Cool fact is that they plan on releasing a white version of each show to commemorate the 25th edition. All the shoes at the site are in the all-white versions. Check out nike.com to check out the site.
