Tron Legacy – Trailer #2
Nerd-out time! Looks amazing and a little bit more about the story is revealed. Can’t wait for this. I predict an awesome online viral campaign to come along with the movie. How could they not?

This is one of the coolest looking movies coming out this spring. I would even see it despite Nicholas Cage being in it. If anyone knows any more about the graphic novel or the movies history, please share. Enjoy!
Wood Harris, who plays Avon on The Wire, interviews and narrates a documentary about the “real” Avon Barksdale. A straight to DVD release, I think it would be cool to learn some history about Barksdale but somehow, he looks and acts too much like a ex-drug addict for me to think he was as hardbody (II) as The Wire’s Avon was. I am interested in hearing your thoughts. (Via)
Can history be repeated? A. Flores, you ready?
For many of you, this documentary is not new, but for those of you who are like me and never heard of it, please read on so you can avoid making the same mistake I did.
This is the worse documentary I have every seen. Apparently Helen Keller is alive and is making movies about sneakers.
After the DVD arrived, I immediately shed the disc of its red envelope, thinking I was going to watch, learn and celebrate apart of our culture that we love so much. However after 30min into it, I realized I had been duped.
The film has no direction and no display of basic editing skills. For example, the film crew travels all the way to Paris to interview Mathieu Kassovitz, who durning the tapping, only spoke French. This would not be a problem accept that there where no subtitles translating what Mathieu was saying. Unless you speak French, there are 15min that will be totally lost on you.
The only thing that this film is successful at is taking the rich and interesting phenomenon know as the sneaker revolution, and all the vibrant personalities that come along with it, and make it all so completely boring. Just for Kicks is premature film that lacks vision and restraint. There, I said it.
JUST FOR KICKS

My last video of the Star Wars Live In Concert footage I got. Hope you enjoy it. I think this one came out the best.
Being a hip-hop DJ who has an open mind (most of the time) and friends who love other types of music than hip-hop, you learn to appreciate other genres. In the past few years, I have seen both my friends and fellow DJs, venture over to the dark side of Electro/Pop/House/Dance music. After DJing at Dance Right a few times, I tried to avoid but on my recent tour with Keys N Krates, Jr-Flo & Matisse gave me a new appreciation for this music. So as much as I am hater of some of the people in this video (i.e Aoki & LMFAO), I am interested to watch this documentary. Feel free to share your thoughts. Jacked from the awesome guys at Space Ballin.
In this video from the Star Wars Live In Concert, the Story of Anakin Skywalker is told with scences from all 6 films and beautiful score from the orchestra. This was one of the highlights of the evening. More videos coming tomorrow.
For all my Star Wars nerds out there, here is a treat. I was able to sneak in the flipcam for a live recreation of the beginning of the Star Wars film at Star Wars In Concert. I got some great footage and i’ll post a new vid every day this week. Please feel free to email people this one bc everyone should benefit from this life-changing saga. PS. Excuse the rude people that walk by.
