“The gaming world merged with reality this week at the Paris auto show with the unveiling of the GTbyCITROËN. The sports car is the first ever car to be specifically designed to bring the virtual and real worlds together. The French car maker partnered with Polyphony Digital Inc, the creators of the Gran Turismo series to stretch their creative vision.”

This keeps getting taken off the web. Wear a diaper. Thanks Ciph & Crew. In other movie previews news, a movie I have grown to anticipate “Pineapple Express” has come out with a new adult-only trailer at IGN. Tropic Thunder AND Pineapple Express is going to end this summer on a laugh! Trailer after the jump… Read the rest of this entry »

I spent some time hanging out with my homie AMART and Cal Poly SLO alum Clinton this Sunday afternoon (No NSYNC) and Rob & Big came up several times in the conversation. My comments to them were that R&B could possibly be this generation’s “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”. I mean, when has there ever been a bad episode on either TV series? Anyways, here are some things I found out about Rob today:
1) Rob is NOT the “D” in DC shoes. (At least according to Wikipedia)
2) He is co-founder of Rogue Status w/ Travis Barker
3) He likes to skate in the skatepark where we threw the infamous Evil Doers NYE party.
4) Rob is going to be in the new Righteous Kill movie w/ Pacino & DeNiro.
5) Rob & Big will not be coming back together next season.
6) Rob is 2 years older than me.
In any sense, Rob has made me appreciate skating again - more than P-Rod or the Dogtown movies. Explanation of the video above after the jump.. Read the rest of this entry »

Just finished watching the Celts win. Not a fan of the franchise but def respect what this team stands for and what they’ve done. KG - nobody deserved that win more than you.

My neighborhood in San Francisco is crazy with soccer this week because of the current EuroCup tournament. Every bar and restaurant in the Lower Haight is crowed with fans all around the clock. Well, the buzz is inescapable and has made a fan out of me. In that spirit I wanted to share this awesome Nike Ad that debuted several months ago but I wanted to make sure everyone gets to see it. Soundtrack by the Eagles Of Death Metal.

Chesspark and the Wu-Tang Clan’s RZA have partnered up to bring you WuChess.com.
Designed for chess enthusiasts addicted to hip-hop music, WuChess.com is the place where your favorite music, movies and celebs will be all while you get your game on. WuChess members will get exclusive offers such as MP3s you can’t get anywhere else, playing a surprise celebrity guest, access to one of a kind video clips and many more surprises. This is hardcore chess with half the stuffiness.
It’s the “world’s first online chess and hip hop community” and will also include exclusive videos and mp3 of the “hottest cats in hip hop.”
I don’t have T.V., But I do have Youtube. This was shown on CBS this past Saturday. It is the third and final round of Kimbo Slice vs. James Thompson, for the MMA. Kimbo on regular tv, I might just have to go buy cable if this keeps happening.
Also you can read his interview in ESPN the magazine online for free. It is well worth the read, I love him even more because of it.

Spike Lee is about to start a feature length documentary about Michael Jordan. Spike is currently in cannes promoting his upcoming movie “Miracle.” The NBA is going to be financing this movie and giving lee exlusive unseen footage that was filmed during the final two years of Jordans career.
Spike Lee said in Cannes, “Mike wants to come to Cannes, so hopefully we will be here next year.”
I just re-watched some Jordan games recently, and this is just giving me goose bumps all over.

When we were in Vegas, Weston and I got hooked watching the Mike Tyson Fight Marathon ESPN Classic. The man was ferocious! We realized the fear that we had for him then was still prevalent to this day after DFLO stepped on his girl and accidentally pushed his girl at the Jay-Z concert at the House of Blues on Sunset a few months back. (FYI: DFLO did not die that night.) Well, Metal Lungies did an awesome post with video from an ESPN show on what Mike is currently up to. Stop by to watch the rest of the videos and tell ML we said hi!
