Busta Rhymes discusses the Break-up of L.O.N.S.
Busta discusses with VLADTV (who is not a journalist BTW) about how Leaders of the New School broke up before they were even signed. He also discusses why he always wanted to be a part of Tribe, which Q-Tip disclosed earlier to Peter Rosenberg at the last Noisemakers. On a personal note, when L.O.N.S. broke up it was tough news for me because they were one of my favorite groups when I was younger. Its just sad that almost 20 years later, there is still bad blood between them. This stuff happened when they were teenagers, get over it. Thanks for the video, GG.

was listening to his interview with Juan Epstein a few weeks back and busta mentions that back then, Charlie Brown’s brother was down with Spectrum/PE and that he felt their success had more to do with charlie’s brother being down with that crew vs busta rhymes being the star…found that kinda interesting.
Its funny that you bring that up bc I am trying to catch up that JE right now. fell off for a lil while. But its interesting that even with the support of PE and Tribe, 2 of the strongest groups ever but particularly in the 90s, they couldn’t get the counseling to hold it together. Thanks for the vid and reply, CV!
word, that juan ep was interesting, especially when busta rhymes describes hearing redman for the first time…then he talks about hearing the wu for the first time…and talks about odb being on elektra with him. i wish rosenberg had asked busta what he was feeling at the time when flex had that record out with dirty, biz and charlie brown (circa fall 94)and it was getting radio/video play
word, cv. I thought i was the only that bought that single on tape! keep up that hustle at Grandgood. I’m a daily visitor.
