Jay-Z and Biggie Freestyles
I know I took a few days off – been DJing alot and I do have a full-time as well. However, I think redeemed myself with these two finds. 90s freestyles from Jay and BIG. Jay is spitting over some classic Marley Marl beats. Then, we have Biggie and Craig Mack over Redman’s “Rocafella” instrumental. Educate yourself this weekend! Major props to DJ Stepone who a plethora (not to be confused with the word “urethra”) of great interviews, mixtapes, and freestyles from the 90s.

the very first beat is actually the instrumental from a cat named Truck Turner’s track called the Symphony…i know right??
I have a freestyle over that very same beat on tape somewhere. I was like 14.
