VH1’s best hip-hop songs

VH1 has announced their top 100 hip-hop songs ever.  A crazy and schizophrenic list, I must say.  There are just enough good songs on there to make you feel like they got something right but others that would only be voted in if you were in a fraternity or sorority in the 90s.  How did VH1 go from the biggest hip-hop hater in the 90s and vowed to never play a hip-hop song to our spot for entertaining (not necessarily quality) hip-hop themed shows?  List after the jump…
