Man…I’m trying to tell em’ bout this album!!! “Nikki” is what’s killin’ my brain cells!!! It just goes to show, you get 1 chance to make a 1st impression with an album…so if you drop some cotton candy for your 1st single (which actually grew on me…EH!), then the bulk of your music is gonna get ignored. In this case, it’s rather unfortunate…
I am hearing you, TC. “Shawty” and “Falsetto” are def radio but “Nikki”, “Purple Kisses”, “Ditch That”, “Luv your girl” - man, Tricky’s production and the hooks just get you. Let me know if I need to help convince anyone else at TSS.
