Jay-Z @ Glastonbury (UK)

So after all the hoopla and haters, reports are that Jay-Z rocked Glastonbury. A moment sure to go down in the history books is that Jay-Z came out and sang Oasis’ “Wonderwall” as his first song to get back at Noel Gallagher and his comments on hip-hop at Glastonbury. Its also good to know that Jay-Z is as about as good a singer as I am on Rockband. Secondly, I think the first two lines of “Wonderwall” were a perfect fit for the moment. I guess, Noel never did his research of Jay at festivals. Or else, he would’ve seen how Jay ethered Prodigy at Summerjam. HE WILL NOT LOSE! Here are slew of write-ups to get your attention:

- Photos of the Jay-Z Glastonbury performance

- Transcript of the Tim Westwood Interview before his performance.

- 2 fans opinions of Jay-Z who were there. one & two.

- Herfection let us know that the show can be downloaded.

- DJ Semtex does a good job of breaking down Jay’s set.

I think he can’t sing but the song made a point. Watched the whole set and b/c of seen him perform live a few times, I knew the routines. BUT… his stage game and energy was still high.
