Lil Wayne on SNL – Good or Great Performance?
So a conversation I was having with my boy D. Nuttz from the Dirty Dirty resulted in a dispute on whether Lil Wayne is a good performer or not. He cited this performance as a evidence. I disagreed. We are from opposite ends of the spectrum. He lives in ATL and hated Lil Wayne until this performance. I’ve been a fan since Weston’s constant posts of Lil Weezy and I’m not from the ATL. I rather watch Kanye doing Love Lockdown. You can help us. Not hating but don’t think this was great. All 5 of you can weigh in.

LMAO. Ok so I can’t help but to laugh when I see this man perform these days. It’s like WHO are you right now? I don’t even think he knows. And how ironic that I say ‘when he performs,’ which would then make perfect sense as to why he acts the way he does these days because he’s “performing.” :/
ANYWHO…I honestly don’t like this current Weezy craze and I don’t understand why he’s like the best thing since *insert whatever you want here.* Not a hater because I definitely listen to Wayne, I just feel that his current buzz is hugely OVERRATED. And to answer the question, that performance was blah. Nothing about that made me go O-M-G. The best RAPPER alive stood there and SANG for me. What more could I ask for
Ok so lil wayne is the absolute best rapper ever. people don’t think he is anything and say he is a “bad” performer, but this man is a music genius. He makes rhymes out of nothing. He also brings a lot of energy to every performance and he LIVENS the crowd. Really tell me what other artist can go PLATINUM in one week of record sales. I think people need to embrace his talents, instead of finding dumb reasons to hate him.
