No Nas here…
or at least posted by me. I have been eagerly awaiting this album and after hearing “Hero” and “Black President” on the N***** mixtape, I am holding off to hear the whole album. Both songs came with beats and lyrics that haven’t excited me about a Nas album since “It was written”. I lied, I was also excited for “Hip-Hop is Dead”. I also believe that this upcoming album was meant to be heard in its entirety and not a collective of leaked songs. So, its blackout time for me. No new Nas snippets or leaked tracks. Everyone else has them but I am closing my eyes and holding my ears till the 15th. On a seperate note, I think “Hero” inspired me to get a new tattoo. And… anyone else think it was classic when Nas said that he “was shaking off all his pop fans” from his second album for the last few years on his mixtape? Don’t understimate the kid.

its alright, ghett0. after watching the video, i did the same thing. i’ll be at best buy next week to show the support.
I wish I had that kind of restraint. I’ve been looking forward to this album for a long time and I cant help listen to the tracks as they leak. Either way I’ll be at Best Buy on the 15th to show my support for a real artist.
Next week is going to be big! Nas and Dark Knight… spending alot of time in line with my iPod.
