Smirnoff X Hip-Hop

Smirnoff and Cornerstone Promotions are promoting their new Smirnoff Signature Mix drinks. For this campaign Common and Just Blaze will remake “The Light,” Q-tip and Cool n Dre will redo Tribe’s “Midnight,” and KRS-One and DJ Premier will make a new version of “Criminal Minded.” The latter is the one I am most excited about. Nike and Hip-Hop (via Just Blaze and Primo) were a good team, let’s see if Smirnoff can reach that standard.

All of the artists will be perform their classics live at the Smirnoff/Cornerstone launch party on Feb, 26th. The actual remakes will be available as a free download on Smirnoff.com later.
