Crips and Bloods: Made in America by Stacy Peralta
From the director behind Dogtown and Z-Boys, Stacey Peralta’s career has spanned many different disciplines from his involvement in the skate world to his work on the back-end with his own skate companies, recent times has seen his directorial talents surface. In his latest documentary, the infamous South Los Angeles rivalry between the Crips and Bloods goes under the microscope. Outlining the beginnings of the feud to its inner workings, former and current gang members unlike are subject to interview alongside experts, writers and activists against this deadly war.
