Born to Use Mics – Book Review (Daily Math)

Ivan Rott from HHIR has a guest blogging spot at one of my favorite sites, Daily Mathematics. Ivan has a cohesive and enticing write-up on the book, Born To Use Mics: Reading Nas’s Illmatic. (By The way, shouldn’t be just an apostrophe? Grammar nerd, please comment.) I am going to give you the link here and encourage you to visit the site. If I can muster up the funds, I am gonna buy 2 copies – 1 for me and 1 for JGILLA. Enjoy!

Hahahaha even a non-grammar nerd knows that one. Hahaha dumb asses.
My understanding of the apostrophe following an s is that you put a second s if you pronounce it that way. Otherwise you stop at the apostrophe if the second s sound is not pronounced. In saying that it doesn’t look right when following that rule in this case.
Oh yeah, and happy new year!
happy new year to you too! thanks for the recent DD song. will listen to it tonight. And I appreciate the apostrophe help. You guys may do it diff in NZ than we do here. haha. just playing w/ you. (II)
@ rod – i thought so, too. Appreciate you stopping by. KTL could use a few more visitors.
No problem. You may be right, we may do it different here (pause). There are small differences between UK English (which we use here) and US English. Particularly when it comes to spelling.
