Bunch of my brothers’ and friends’ favorite artists are putting their artwork together in May for a cool exhibition of limited prints, sold-out pieces, and some new originals. After hitting up New Orleans earlier this month, Banksy’s lastest postup was in Alabama (pictured above). Clever as always. I got a text message that he is on his way to Cali to scold Shepard for making a Kobe lithograph. Thanks to Blind I for the news.
BBC News reports that a 2004 photo of a guy painting on a wall has confirmed it is the legendary Banksy. The path on how they got the identity seems pretty weak, at least to me. Let’s keep his identity on the hush-hush. I think Banksy is right when he thinks that some “a couple of 15-year-old kids out there” would be disappointed if they found out who he was.
