Kanye recently posted on his blog a pictorial dedication to Cassie. I think he must’ve been reading our Searching for the New Alba post. We got better pictures but he has more of them… check them out.
I know, I know - second post referring to Kanye in one day. Overexposure. Well, at least, I am not talking about Bonnaroo.
If you’ve been on KTL for awhile, you know that we are friends and fans of Cassie - not officially friends, just in that late-night myspace stalker type of friend. Anyways, she could be our new Alba and having her stop by to tell us doesn’t hurt. More videos after the jump…
Just some things to distract you today:
* LL Cool J is going to be on Sesame Street in August. Who really believes he’s “street” after this? 50 must be pissed that LL’s publicist let him do this. (MTV)
* Diddy says Cassie’s next album is better! The first wasn’t bad but her performances def needed work. Getting a cameo in “Roc Boys” and “Stronger” def kept her on the map. Anyone else agree? (Billboard)
* Prodigy is locked up but not his mind. Dude is hilarious! He has made observations/revelations that people have been saying since the 80’s. Delusional and funny. Since he is now reading books, I think he almost at the social awareness of a 10 year old. (Vibe)
* Koch Records is reusing beats on albums and didn’t think people would notice. Stop being stupid, stupid. (HHDX)
* Worst Idea I heard today: Def Jam (Jermaine Dupri) agreed to make a Record Label with the man-spray TAG. Best Idea I heard today: Big Boi brings some hip-hop to the elitist Ballet crowd.
You know that we are in our search for a new Alba now that she is prego with twins (Thanks for the info, Wes.) We’ve offered Olivia and Jessica as options. Now, I am putting Cassie out there for the KTL readers to decide. Stolen from WMF - here are pics from the March Issue of GQ. (BTW, WMF has been kicking my ass with their posts recently.
