Spike Lee to make Michael Jordan Documentary

Spike Lee is about to start a feature length documentary about Michael Jordan. Spike is currently in cannes promoting his upcoming movie “Miracle.” The NBA is going to be financing this movie and giving lee exlusive unseen footage that was filmed during the final two years of Jordans career.

Spike Lee said in Cannes, “Mike wants to come to Cannes, so hopefully we will be here next year.”

I just re-watched some Jordan games recently, and this is just giving me goose bumps all over.

Scorsese directs Marley documentary

Variety reports that Martin Scorsese will helm a new documentary of Bob Marley. Having profound Dylan and Stones biopics under his belt, it only makes sense that he was given the honor to direct a movie on the life of one of the world’s greatest musicians. The Marley family has given Martin their blessing and the film is slated to release in Feb, 2010.
