Slaughterhouse has alot of my attention right now! I am even considering going to Rock The Bells just to see them. My legs and stamina may not be what it used to but it maybe worth it to see the fourth them rock a show. Watch this video and this is what MCing is about. Monsters, I tell you!

Joell Ortiz, 1/4 of Slaughter house and full-time Brooklyn MC, does justice to most, if not all, to the songs he covers. Hell… this mixtape just wins for the cover art, which was done by ChiefRocka Industries. Props to eskay and everyone else who is posting this. Spread good hip-hop. Tracklisting after the jump.
Green Lantern takes us back to the Eastpak/North Face days with this remix for “BGH”. Classic sample, Green Lantern is making a name for himself for giving these new songs an old spirit by using classic hip-hop riffs (see Solange’s “Fuck the Industry Remix”.) Smif N Wessun’s “Sound Bwoy Bureill” shall never be forgotten. But, unfortunately, I still haven’t memorized Jay’s second verse. I’m trying.
I held off on posting this until I had a good listening to it. I can now say.. “I am DJ Franchise and I approve of this mixtape.” Green Lantern had worked on this for months to create a positive, fluid mixtape that Obama himself and his constituents would be proud of. Great messages, impressive editing, and overall something I would let my mom listen to. I have found my morning soundtrack till Nov. 4th. After the jump tracklisting but before that Jay-Z tells you not to be fooled by the naysayers.
Green Latern’s Sirius radio show is getting some great footage of MCs just going in (ll). Although, I can’t take Charles Hamilton’s arrogance sometimes, you gotta admit that he holds his own against Joe Budden. Some of the better freestyling, I’ve seen in awhile. Thanks to Snicka for the link.
