Best song of 2009. Period. Possibly within all of music I heard this year. Seriously. If you don’t know, no hard feelings. This is time for you to catch up. If you do know, buy yourself an extra gift for X-mas. You deserve it. Friend and DJ, Sake1, made an edit for fellow song selectors that gives you an 8 bar intro and little faster BPM. You can download the edit, but support real hip-hop and go to Itunes and buy it! Really. I am gonna stop talking and let you experience some greatness before the end of the 2009.
So I got this email about how Adam Yauch has some cancer on his neck that he has to get removed. And that a bunch of the Beastie Boys shows are going to get canceled. I still have my tickets for the Hollywood Bowl and havent seen anything about it getting canceled. Anyways, so i went onto the forums on there website and saw that they have a new song. Here it is below, and Dan hates the Beastie Boys.
I don’t know how official this is as of yet, but it is fucking awesome. Thom Yorke Remixing MF DOOM.

The German athletic apparel giant is giving its lifestyle brand, Originals, its first U.S. TV advertising ever: A 30-second spot featuring music stars like Katy Perry, DMC (of Run-DMC) and Method Man cavorting with sports phenoms David Beckham and Kevin Garnett.
The ad, breaking this week via Sid Lee, Montreal, shows the star-studded group at a party decked out in adidas Originals shoes, shirts, jeans and jackets. There are no spoken words in the ad, which runs as long as 120 seconds, though the TV versions run in 30— and 60-second versions. Instead, there are impressionistic shots of the celebs entering the party, dancing, smiling, painting and falling down, all as a remix of the Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ “Beggin’” (by DJ Pilooski) plays.
If I don’t hear this song everytime I go out to a club, I am going to become a DJ. And i am happy to hear that adidas has finally decided to show up to the advertising party. Welcome, Good first commercial, Download link after the cut.
I know that you all thought that M.I.A. had retired and wasn’t going to make any more music. But here is something new from mad decent / M.I.A., Tic Toc. I like it, but i will only listen to it a few more times then delete it from my Hard Drive.
Since this song is number two in the biggest music retailer (iTunes), I guess everyone wants to rap over this track. Just gives me reason to post Paper Planes featuring Jim Jones.
