I completely forgot about this video. I think its taken from “THE MC” or “16 Bars” documentary a few years back. (voiceover obviously) But, the homie DeRay is hilarious. Thanks to Dan and Wale for the reminder. And for more added laughter today, Free Speech found this treat for you. Weston, maybe auto-tune at the wedding ceremony?

I know I’m a few days late with this but its def worth a post. When this song first came out, I hated it. But the negative influence of MTV JAMS has made it grow on me. What has saved this song from the hells of Khaled garbagem is this new Jay verse that really strikes a nerve. I tried to come up with something clever for it but I think Gotty at TSS said it best:
“Jay jumps in on Khaled & Kanye’s track, blessing it with a verse & thus furthering Kanye’s Carlton complex with being outshined by Will.”
The Twitterific FWMJ just posted the nerdly-anticipated “Death of Autotune” cd. Performed by Roger Riley & Teddy Troutman, this is both quality and comedy. I may just play the originals and transition to the Autotune version of each of these songs on Sat Night at Sugar Lounge in San Francisco. Clowning on the smart dumb bastards. Tracklisting after the jump. And if you want to get a taste of what you are in for before you download, go to RappersIknow for the snippets.
So… I know its kinda hypocritical to talk about the focus and insight of Nas for the last few days and then bust out a post about T-Pain and Lil Wayne’s new collabo. But, “I keeps it real!” (C) Chappelle Show. This song has been stuck in my head for awhile now – I blame the chorus and silly ad-libs (“Fuego”). Everything about this song I should hate but I just can’t. If you need a moment for a senseless radio song that isn’t half bad, then you are obliged to download. BTW, the above pic is my vote for the T-Wayne Album cover. What else can you ask for from these two: alien, ugly, dreads, destroying the human race?
